My key to weight loss

My key is seeing results on the scales…….I check every morning and I need that positive feedback.  My longest stall was two weeks and I just worked to get going again. I could not remain on a diet losing three or four pounds a month unless I was close to my goal.

I am trying to eat healthy so I can lose and remain at my goal weight.  I have not figured out my goal yet, but want to start concentrating on inches instead of pounds.  I joined the wellness center last week and hope to really be active this summer in cutting inches. I would live to lose about a pound a week for the rest of this summer.

Our diet now is based on a Mediterranean diet.  We are eating much less beef, pork, and chicken, although we like to have bacon for breakfast often.  We have cut potatoes, white bread, and all sweets.  Whole grains seem to be the key for us.
