“Mount of Olives”
The conversation on the way to the Mount of Olives Jesus tells them that their faith will be shaken. I have found at many times in my life when my faith is shaken, I have listened to the words of Father Leon and his words have always brought me back. I truly believe that when speaking at Mass that he is touched and speaks the word of God. Scary, I know.Â
During my senior year of high school there was a car crash on the West Virginia Turnpike and two baseball players for East Bank were killed. Ricky Kegler was very close to my family and it was the first young person close to me to die. I just kept wondering why God would let things like this to happen. Father Leon explained how God created our world and created nature and it was the natural events that took place that took Ricky’s life. Leon has always been a rock for me. Thank you.
