Agenda for math meeting Feb 15, 2008

• Discuss which book for MAT 097 3 hour & 5 hour course-We are looking at three books:  Angel, Martin-Gay, & Sullivan
• Discuss MAT 145 & 150 book Changing to new books
• Discuss changing numbering
• MAT 150   -> MAT 121    Plan to have for Spring 2009
• MAT 145  -> MAT 130
• Create a committee to look at lining up MAT 145->MTH 130 Committee created-Jim (chair), Heather, and Jason
• Discuss e-courses- told everyone what little I knew
• Discuss embedding an assignment for Gen Ed. Told Jason, Jim, Mildred, and Heather to get that done and re-submit
• Discuss titles

• third week letters-reminded the ones that had not completed that assignment to get that to me
• Door office hours standardized- to be done next week

Next meeting February 29, noon

• Make book selection
• Work on common syllabus for MAT 097
